A Student’s Mental health check up camp was conducted on 6th January 2024 as an activity of Students week observation. The camp was conducted by Department of Psychology in association with IQAC, Surendranath College. The program was inaugurated by IQAC Coordinator of Surendranath College, Dr. Achintya Kumar Biswas. A total of 57 students of different departments of Surendranath College took part in this camp. Students were given 3 questionnaire, General Information Schedule, General Health Questionnaire – 12, & PGI Wellbeing scale respectively. General information schedule was given to obtain all the necessary demographic details of the participant. General health questionnaire was administered to assess the overall health quality of the participant. And lastly, PGI well being scale was administered to assess the subjective well being of the participant. Each of the participants was properly instructed by the volunteers. A mental health report was given to the participants after analysing and interpreting the scores obtained by the participants.
