01. Observation International Nurses Day
An event on International Nurses Day was observed by the NSS unit of Surendranath College. Dignitaries Principal, Dr. Indranil Kar, IQAC coordinator Mr. Achintya Biswas, Academic Sub committee Convenor Dr.Asish Basu and faculties from various departments graced the occasion with their valuable presence. Sisters and brothers from B.R.Singh Hospital stood to share their experiences which were truly worth reflecting upon. They were Swastika Sarkar, Trina Bhowmik, Tinku Ghosh, Laboni Mridha, Hari Krishnan, Srikant Sharma.Each was felicitated. Besides, the volunteers prepared performances representing the strength of the unit by dedicating dance. The well – binded program was adored by the NSS song. The Nurses were so overwhelmed by the SNC team that they themselves proposed the idea of first aid, CPR and other certification courses for the volunteers in future. Total participants number 30.
