Surendranath College NCC units, 2 Bengal BN NCC, in association with IQAC Surendranath College have organized a state-level awareness competition on “Best Out of Waste.” On 6th June 2024 at Surendranath College Auditorium. NCC cadets and students from 38 colleges and 6 school students and NCC Cadets across West Bengal showcased their talents by creating masterpieces from waste materials. This initiative sends a strong message about sustainability and eco-friendly practices, highlighting the importance of recycling. Celebrity judges, including environmentalist Arvind and radio jockey and TV presenter Debi Saha, added prestige to the event. This competition emphasizes the significance of a sustainable environment and promotes innovative ways to reuse waste, marking a big step towards environmental awareness and sustainable development.
