• Presented paper on “Risks associated in the farming of sex reversed tilapia using 17-α methyl testosterone” in UGC sponsored National Seminar on “Recent Advance In Biological Sciences” on 17^th & 18^th February, 2017 at Gurudas College.
• Presented a paper on “Sewage-fed aquaculture of sex-reversed Oreochromis niloticus in East Kolkata Wetlands” at UGC sponsored National level Seminar “From Molecules to Ecosystem – A Zoological Perspective” organized by Department of Zoology, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, Rahara, in collaboration with Department of Zoology West Bengal State University on 22^ndSeptember, 2016

Career highlights:

• First class 1^st in the B.Sc. Examination in Zoology in Kalyani University
• Received Satish and Tulasi Manna Memorial Endowment Bronze Medal for the same.
• Qualified State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) for Lecturership in 2004
• Secured first position in College Service Commission (CSC) Zoology panel in the year 2006.
• Organized a state level seminar on “Recent advances in zoology and its application in human welfare”
• Appointed as the Head of the Department of Department of Zoology,Surendranath College on 02.03.2015.
