- First class 1st in the B.Sc. Examination in Zoology in Kalyani University
- Received Satish and Tulasi Manna Memorial Endowment Bronze Medal for the same.
- Qualified State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) for Lecturership in 2004
- Secured first position in College Service Commission (CSC) Zoology panel in the year 2006.
- Organized a state level seminar on “Recent advances in zoology and its application in human welfare”
- Appointed as the Head of the Department of Department of Zoology,Surendranath College on 02.03.2015.
