Presented a paper titled Serious, Proper and Wise: Philip Larkin, the Movement and his Straightforward Representation of the Commonplace in Poetry” in an International Seminar on “A Century in Retrospect: Literary Signposts and Watersheds of the Last Hundred Years” organized by the Department of English, Shoolini University, Solan, Himachal Pradesh (India), from 15th May 2020 to 23rd May 2020.

2. Presented a paper titled “The Construction of the Self: Negotiating the Confessional Movement and its Poetry” in the 20th International MELOW (The Society for the Study of Multi-Ethnic Literatures of the World) Conference on “400 Years of American Literature,” hosted in collaboration with the Department of English. Shoolini University, Solan, Himachal Pradesh (India), from 8th October 2020 to 11th October 2020.

International Summer School

Completed the “ORSAM Summer School on Middle Eastern Affairs,” organized by ORSAM-Center for Middle Eastern Studies, Ankara, Turkey, held between 21-24 September 2020.

1. Co-Coordinator and  Performer  ( as  Leading  Man)  at the  Department of  English, University of  Calcutta’s presentation of  Luigi Pirandello’s  “Six  Characters in Search of an  Author”  on  February  7, 2013, at  Calcutta  University  Centenary  Hall.

2. Participated in the  UGC Sponsored  Two  Day  National Conference organized by Brahmananda  Keshab  Chandra  College, Kolkata on  “Re-writing Culture, Re-telling Narratives: Gender and the Politics of  Representation”  on  9th and  10th  February 2012  at the Indian  Statistical  Institute,  Kolkata.

3. Attended the  UGC  Sponsored  One  Day  National  Seminar organized by  Sivanath  Sastri  College, Kolkata on  “Gender as  Perspective:  Reflection on  Different  Disciplines”  on  December  19,  2016.

4. Participated in the  7-Day  National  Level  Workshop on  “Teaching  Literature: Going Beyond  Lectures”,  organized by the  Departments of  English,  Bengali,  Hindi, and  Sanskrit from  10th  to  19th  April 2017  at  Barrackpore  Rastraguru  Surendranath  College.

1. “Bangladesh. Prospects for 2018-2019: A Pre-Election Perspective.”

Estimating the 11th Parliamentary Elections of 2018 in Bangladesh, focusing on the Dhaka Division, with emphasis on Economy, Information Technology, Education, Infrastructural Developments and the Effect of the Hindu Votes.

2. Recipient of  ‘Sayantani  Debnath  Memorial  Award’  (Gold  Medal)  for  Topper in  English, Under  Graduate  Courses in  2011,  B.R.S.N  College.

3. Recipient of  “Professor  Ranjit  Bhattacharya  Memorial  Award”  (Gold  Medal)  for Topper in  English,  Under  Graduate  Courses in  2011,  B.R.S.N. College.

4. Received  Army  Welfare  Education  Society  (AWES)  Scholarships for every successful academic year from  1999 – 2011.

5. Non-NET  Fellowship (under  Swami  Vivekananda  Merit cum  Means  Scholarship scheme) by the Higher Education Department,  Government of  West  Bengal for  M.Phil. course (18th April 2017- 17th April 2019) at the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies, University of Calcutta.
